Projects

We recently finished a European funded project under the name of InSOTEC (2011-2014), focusing on international socio-technical challenges for implementing geological disposal.
It was a great experience working with a bunch of academics, mostly sociologists, discussing on the concept of socio-technical, its implications, its shortcomings and benefits. The project encourages thinking differently about the relationship between social and technical aspects, enhancing the entanglement between both and their mutual influence, rather than keeping them separately. InSOTEC advocates for acknowledging complexity rather than trying to reduce it.
